When a Direct to Web application running on Windows 2000 is accessed using the Netscape browser (v4.72) running on the same machine, it takes a long time for pages to be returned. The Netscape browser appears to consume all available CPU time while loading the response to a form submitted with method=POST. The long delay returning pages is due to the application being starved for CPU time rather than being an issue in WebObjects. Possible workarounds are to run the Netscape browser on a different machine, or to use a different browser.
