System 7 and should not be installed on a System 7-based Macintosh system.
AppleShare is fully network-compatible with both System 6 and System 7.
Both System 6 and System 7-based Macintosh users can access an AppleShare
File Server running on a System 6-based machine.
AppleShare Server 3.0, which was announced on October 15, 1991, is fully
