I bought an Apple HD 80SC drive with A/UX 1.1 installed.  When I connected<BR>
the drive to a Macintosh IIfx (with the special IIfx terminator), I<BR>
couldn't launch A/UX.  However, other folders on the drive open fine.  With<BR>
A/UX, I get error messages:<BR>
<BR>
   SCSI RESET<BR>
   DISC C1D0S0:SCSI TIMEOUT<BR>
   GENERIC DISC C1D0S0 FATAL ERROR:LOGICAL BLOCK 0,<BR>
     PHYSICAL BLOCK 1869875042<BR>
   CHROOT FAILED<BR>
   SASH#<BR>

To run A/UX on the Macintosh IIfx, you must have A/UX 2.0 or any later<BR>
version.  Version 1.1 gave you this particular error message, because it<BR>
doesn't know how to use the IIfx DMA SCSI scheme.  If you want to use A/UX<BR>
on a IIfx, you must upgrade.<BR>
