On a Macintosh IIfx the &quot;cancel&quot; command under the AT&amp;T Line Printer<BR>
spooler system can't gracefully shut off the child process of &quot;lpsched&quot;.<BR>
Therefore, the remaining entries in the printer queue can't be printed.<BR>
Eventually, this hangs the printer port (on a direct connected ImageWriter<BR>
II). The problem  only happens on the Macintosh IIfx.  We suspect the<BR>
problem is on the A/UX 2.0 Macintosh IIfx IOP serial driver tty settings.<BR>

As a workaround, the &quot;Macintosh IIfx Serial Switch&quot; Macintosh OS CDEV seems<BR>
to work for A/UX 2.0, which lets Macintosh IIfx serial ports be set to be<BR>
Macintosh IIfx IOP-&quot;compatible&quot; for applications that use printer or modem<BR>
ports that don't operate properly.</TT></div>
