I was moving fonts between my System 6 and System 7 Macintosh computers.<BR>
I didn't see some of the basic fonts, like Geneva 9 or Chicago 12, on my <BR>
System 7 Macintosh.  When I moved the same suitcases back to System 6, I<BR>
saw them with no problem using Font/DA Mover.  Why?<BR>

In System 7.0, reserved fonts such as Geneva 9 or Chicago 12 are made<BR>
invisible by the Finder. &nbsp;This prevents novice users from removing these<BR>
fonts from the System suitcase, which would cause crashes. &nbsp;Reserved fonts<BR>
are invisible in both System font suitcases and regular font suitcases <BR>
under System 7.<BR>
<BR>
Reserved fonts include:<BR>
<BR>
 &nbsp;* Geneva 9<BR>
 &nbsp;* Geneva 12<BR>
 &nbsp;* Chicago 12<BR>
 &nbsp;* Monaco 9<BR>
<BR>
Although this prevents serious damage to system files, it is confusing to <BR>
users who moved the fonts using Font/DA Mover under System 6.<BR>
<BR>
Font/DA Mover can view and copy these fonts. &nbsp;Remember that Font/DA Mover <BR>
version 4.1 is necessary to use suitcases that contain TrueType fonts.<BR>
