Can I install AppleShare software on my Macintosh without installing the
File Sharing software at the same time?

To install AppleShare software without installing the File Sharing
software, use the Installer's "Customize" option and select either "System
Software for Any Macintosh" or "System Software for [your particular
Macintosh model]."

Using the Installer's "Easy" option installs both AppleShare and File
Sharing software.
