The Visual Almanac is an interactive multimedia kit that combines a
videodisc with the Macintosh computer running HyperCard.
It features three segments:
- a collection of 7,500 moving and still images and sounds
- a composition workspace for manipulating text, images, and sounds
- 14 student activities in science, the arts, social studies, and
mathematics
The package contains a 2-sided LaserDisc, a CD-ROM disc, a cable to connect
the Macintosh to several different popular LaserDisc players, and
documentation.
