Symptom
Pro Tools indicates that audio and video tracks are one frame off.
Solution
Apple believes this issue is caused by a combination of factors within Pro Tools. First, in some cases audio and video tracks slip by one or two audio samples. One audio sample is only about 1/1600th of a frame (assuming 48 kHz audio), so this is almost never noticeable. The second issue has to do with Pro Tools mismatching audio samples and video frames so that the offset of one or two audio samples is reported as being off by an entire video frame. This is purely a timecode reporting error and does not affect the actual synchronization of audio and video clips within Pro Tools or Final Cut Pro.
