I have two monitors attached to my Macintosh. I'd like a trash can in each
of them. Is this possible?

Yes, System 7 lets you make aliases for your trash can -- as many as you
like. Here's how:

1) In the finder, select the Trash icon.

2) Choose Make Alias from the File menu. A new icon appears, named
"Trash alias"

3) If you like, rename the alias -- anything but "Trash" -- and drag
it to the other screen.

If you drag, say, a document into the new trash icon, the document actually
goes into the original Trash. The original Trash icon expands to indicate
there's something in it (though your alias will not bulge).

If you decide you no longer want an extra trash can, drag it into (you
guessed it!) the original Trash.
