.Mac: Eight-Character Limit in Internet System Preference Password

The .Mac tab of the Internet preference pane does not allow passwords greater than eight characters in the password field.

The .Mac tab of the Internet system preference pane does not allow passwords greater than 8 characters in the password field.


Solution

Update to Mac OS X 10.2.5 or later.
