I received an out-of-space error message when I tried to copy some folders
to another disk even though the available disk space was more than enough
to hold the folders I was moving.
When you copy folders with custom icons to another disk, the sizes of the
invisible icon files are not included in the total folder size. This can
result in the out-of-space error message you received.
