Symptom
WebObjects 5 will not install on your Mac OS X disk.
Solution
Log in as the root user to install WebObjects 5.
Important: The root user must be enabled before you can log in this way. The root user is enabled by default in Mac OS X Server but not in Mac OS X (client). Mac OS X 10.0 (client) is compatible with WebObjects 5 Developer but not WebObjects 5 Deployment. For more information, see:

When root is enabled, you may follow these steps:
1. Choose Log Out from the Apple Menu.
2. In the Name field type: root
3. Enter the root password and click Log In.
4. Install WebObjects 5.
After completing this process, you should log out and log back in as your user or Admin user.
