Symptom

When selecting fonts from the AppleWorks toolbar, the Font menu or ruler only displays a subset of available fonts. Fonts listed below the bottom of the screen cannot be selected as the Font menu will not scroll using the mouse.

Solution

• Select the Text menu with the mouse, or by pressing Alt+T on the keyboard.
• Use the cursor keys on the keyboard to navigate through the Font submenu.
• Observe the status area of the AppleWorks window when navigating below the last displayed font in the listing.

Note: The selected font will continue to change in the status area (lower left corner) of the AppleWorks window, even when navigating to a font which is located beyond the displayed listing.

This issue does not affect AppleWorks 6 running under later versions of Windows.
