Here are the ImageWriter LQ ribbon specifications:

Ribbon

- Cassette containing black-inked fabric ribbon, continuous
- Optional: four-color ribbon (black, yellow, magenta, cyan)

Ribbon Life
-----------
- 4 million characters (black)
- 1 million characters/band (color)

Shelf Life
----------
- Packaged, unwrapped, not exposed to the environment, and stored under
cool conditions (80 degrees F): Approximately 2 years

- Unwrapped and exposed to the environment: Approximately 6 months to
1 year

Note: The older the ribbon, the drier it becomes when exposed to
sunlight, air, and so on.
