Typically, if you have a similar program on both platforms, such as Adobe PhotoShop, the files are readable across platforms. The PICT file format is not easily read on a Windows computer and is not recommended.
If you have existing graphics on either platform, here are a couple of suggestions for exchanging them between the PC and Macintosh.
- Use MacLinkPlus from DataViz. More information is available from their Web site at http://www.dataviz.com/.
- Save the document in the GIF or JPEG file format. There are graphics viewers available for both Macintosh and Windows that allow you to view the document.
