The "can't create lower memory segment" error message might be displayed
because the system has temporarily exhausted its available physical memory
or swap space, or the number of shared memory segments attached to the
calling process exceeds the system-imposed limit. This usually happens
while trying to start up the Macintosh environment executed by the
"startmac" process. Check your available memory and swap space to see if
this is the case.
