AppleWorks 6: How to Change the Highlight Color

With Mac OS X, AppleWorks uses the System Preferences highlight color when selecting text and when selecting cells in the spreadsheet.

You can change highlight color in System Preferences. To do this:

1. Choose Apple > System Preferences.
2. Choose View > General.
3. Choose a color from the Highlight Color pop-up menu.

If you want a color that is not shown, choose Other to see the Color Picker dialog.

Note: This will affect the highlight color for any application that uses the System Preferences settings.
