iPod for Windows: MUSICMATCH Jukebox Stuck At "Preparing to Synchronize"

The MUSICMATCH Jukebox can incorrectly report that the iPod is still in the process of synchronizing, even when the iPod has completely synchronized.
Symptom

You see one of these two alert messages:

Note: The second message appears with a progress bar that is not complete.

This occurs even though the iPod has fully synchronized with MUSICMATCH Jukebox.

Solution

Click on the MUSICMATCH Jukebox Playlists icon, then click back on the iPod.

To prevent this in the future, do not select synchronize unless there have been changes to the MUSICMATCH Jukebox library or playlists.

Additional Information

This usually happens if you select synchronize when there has been no change since the last synchronization between MUSICMATCH Jukebox and the iPod.
