Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro 2: Compressor - Distortion in Text Overlay on Power Mac G5

On Power Mac G5 computers, the MPEG-2 text overlays in Compressor may look distorted.
Symptom

After adding a text overlay to MPEG-2 material, the area of the clip where the overlay was added appears distorted.


Solution

Update to Compressor 1.1. It is available in Software Update preferences or from the Download section of (http://www.apple.com/software/pro/).
