Final Cut Pro 4: Boris Calligraphy Quits If Last Used Font Is Removed

Symptom

Final Cut Pro 4 unexpectedly quits when using one of the Boris Calligraphy text generators (Title 3D or Title Crawl).


Solution

Do one of the following:

• Reinstall the font that was recently removed.
• Delete the Final Cut Pro 4 Preferences files located at ~/Library/Preferences/Final Cut Pro User Data/
  Note: The tilde "~" refers to your home folder. For more information see technical document 106167 "Mac OS X: Using Your Home Directory".

Note: Deleting Final Cut Pro 4 user preferences resets certain custom settings in the application.
