When you first start iTunes, you are given the option to search for music to add to the iTunes library. If you did not select this option, follow the steps below to add music to iTunes.
To move songs from MUSICMATCH into the iTunes Library:
- Open iTunes.
- Open your "My Music" folder by clicking the Start button and then pointing to My Music.
- Arrange the windows so you can see both the My Music folder, and the iTunes Source list.
- Drag your MUSICMATCH songs from the My Music folder to the Library in the Source list.

Dragging your music files to the iTunes Library
Tip: The My Music folder is the default location for your MUSICMATCH songs. If you have moved the songs to another location, drag them from there instead. If you're not sure where your MUSICMATCH songs are located, use the following steps to find out.
- Open MUSICMATCH.
- From the Options menu, choose Settings.
- Click the Recorder tab.
- Click the Tracks Directory button. The full path of the music library is located at the top of the window.
iTunes will synchronize music and audiobooks to your iPod. You can continue to use MUSICMATCH Jukebox and Audible Manager, but they will no longer transfer content directly to your iPod. Any content you want to sync with your iPod should be imported into iTunes.
If your MusicMatch playlists are on the same computer as iTunes, you can import them into the iTunes Source list. From the
File menu, choose
Import, then locate the playlists that you want copied into iTunes. iTunes can import playlist files ending with .m3u, .txt, or .xml.
