iDVD 4 processes reported incorrectly as hung in Activity Monitor
It can be handy to use Activity Monitor to check the status of iDVD 4 and its processes while encoding and burning a project to disc in iDVD 4. However, if you open iDVD after Activity Monitor is already running, you may notice that ThumbnailServer and EncoderServer (which are processes of the iDVD 4 application) are listed in red and are labeled as being hung.
They are actually running normally. If you quit Activity Monitor and open it again while iDVD is already open, those processes will be listed accurately.
