The Quadra 700 and 900 built-in video provides 256 colors in the base<BR>
configuration, and 16.7 million colors with expanded VRAM.<BR>

Display Cards<BR>

The Apple 16-inch Color Display works with the Macintosh Display Cards 8*24<BR>
and 8*24 GC, version B or later.  (If you have one of these cards and it's<BR>
earlier than version B, you can have the ROMs upgraded.)<BR>
<BR>
The number of colors provided by the Macintosh Display Cards are as<BR>
follows:<BR>
<BR>
  Macintosh Display Card 8*24       256 colors<BR>
  Macintosh Display Card 8*24 GC    32,000 colors<BR>
