LaserWriter IIf: Needs 4MB RAM to Print All Page Sizes

The manual for the LaserWriter IIf and LaserWriter IIg states that there is
a non-printable margin around the page of 5mm. All of the LaserWriter IIf
printers I've printed on have an unprintable area of: top=10mm,
bottom=10mm, left=10mm, right=6mm.

The LaserWriter IIf and LaserWriter IIg have a non-printable margin of 5mm
around the page. The problem you have is due to a lack of memory in the
LaserWriter IIf. The largest page size a 2MB LaserWriter IIf can print is
a4small, which is 7.68 by 11 inches. The default page size that is used is
lettersmall, which is 7.89 by 10.30 inches. A 2MB LaserWriter IIf can't
print a letter size (8.11 by 10.79 inches), or legal size (8.11 by 13.79
inches) page. The only way around this is to upgrade the memory of the
LaserWriter IIf to 4MB.

A 4MB LaserWriter IIf can print any of the following page sizes:

legal: 8.11 by 13.79 inches
a4: 7.89 by 11.44 inches
letter: 8.11 by 10.79 inches
a4small: 7.68 by 11 inches
lettersmall: 7.89 by 10.30 inches
b5: 6.72 by 9.81 inches
