Macintosh: Troubleshooting a Corrupted Desktop File



I have a Macintosh II with a corrupted Desktop file that I cannot rebuild.

A damaged directory structure on the hard drive could cause this and other
problems.

We suggest that you do a file-by-file backup of the hard drive. Then
reinitialize the drive and restore the files.
