These are the supported drive configurations for the Macintosh Quadra 900:
- 1 Apple SuperDrive drive and up to 3 half-height SCSI drives
- 1 Apple SuperDrive drive, 1 full-height SCSI drive, and 1
half-height SCSI drive
The following configurations are supported, but not recommended because the
Apple SuperDrive must be removed, which makes system administration and
software upgrades difficult:
- 2 removable-media drives and 1 full-height SCSI drive
- 2 removable-media drives and up to 2 half-height SCSI drives
