I have a Macintosh LC with 2MB RAM and an HD40 SC running system software<BR>
version 6.0.8.  I have an Apple IIe Card installed and am printing to a<BR>
Personal LaserWriter NT from AppleWorks and Publish It.<BR>
<BR>
When printing, the print starts an extra half-inch down the page, thereby<BR>
misaligning subsequent pages -- the last page of one print job I measured<BR>
had a top margin of 4 inches.<BR>
<BR>
Is there a compatibility problem with the Apple IIe Card and the Personal<BR>
LaserWriter NT?<BR>

This indicates that software is not properly configured for the correct<BR>
number of lines per page.  The Personal LaserWriter NT has a minimum margin<BR>
that reduces the number of available lines per page to 61 from the usual 66<BR>
lines for an 8.5x11 page.  Configure your software accordingly.<BR>

The Apple IIe Card version 2.0 software uses the printer driver in the<BR>
Macintosh System Folder.  Ensure that you have the Courier 10-point font<BR>
installed.<BR>
