A utility program called 'fcnvt' comes with A/UX, and is a hybrid <BR>
application with A/UX and Macintosh Toolbox calls.  Under A/UX the 'fcnvt' <BR>
utility converts a file in one storage format to a corresponding file in a <BR>
different storage format.<BR>
<BR>
We suggest you upload files to A/UX and make any conversion there, then<BR>
download to the Macintosh operating system.<BR>
<BR>
The formats supported are:<BR>
<BR>
AppleDouble<BR>
AppleSingle<BR>
MacBinary<BR>
BinHex<BR>
Plain Pair<BR>
Plain Triple<BR>
<BR>
A/UX also provides the utility 'setfile' that lets you set a file TYPE and<BR>
CREATOR.  It also lets you set file attributes (that is, invisible, locked,<BR>
and so on).<BR>

pages or use the A/UX man program.<BR>
