When I print from the manual-feed tray on my LaserWriter IINT, the paper-<BR>
out status light stays lit.  I can still print from the tray without any<BR>
problem, but the only way I can clear the status light is to open and shut<BR>
the printer cover.<BR>

  <div class="attr SUMMARY">
There is a bug in the LaserWriter IINT ROM that causes this.  If you have a<BR>
piece of paper in the manual-feed tray when you issue a manual-feed print<BR>
job, the status light stays on after the print cycle.  The workaround is to<BR>
send the manual-feed print job, then wait until the status light is<BR>
blinking before you insert the piece of paper.<BR>
<BR>
There is no other workaround for this problem, and none is planned because<BR>
it is a cosmetic problem and does not affect the actual operation of the<BR>
printer.<BR>
