Macintosh LC with Apple IIe Card: Copying ProDOS Disks and Files

I have a Macintosh LC with an Apple IIe Card installed and an Apple 5.25
Drive connected to the card.

1) Can I disk copy a 5.25-inch disk to a 3.5-inch disk in the Macintosh
LC SuperDrive?

2) How do I make a disk copy of a 5.25-inch disk?

1) No, you can't do a disk copy because you can't copy from one size disk
to another size disk. You need to copy individual files from the 5.25-
inch disk to the 3.5-inch disk. The ProDOS utilities can be used to do
this.

Another problem is that some disks may be in the older DOS 3.3 format,
which is not supported on the higher-density disks. Though ProDOS will
read DOS 3.3 disks, and you can copy DOS 3.3 files to ProDOS, some
programs will not run because of operating system differences.

2) To copy standard a 5.25-inch disk with the Apple IIe Card and one Apple
5.25 Drive, use the ProDOS utilities, which provide a copy function.
You need to specify the same device for both the original and duplicate.
The software prompts you when you need to insert and remove disks. Note
that some disks cannot be copied because they are protected.
