- Processor: 68030 (instead of 68020)
- 4MB RAM minimum soldered onto the logic board.
- No second floppy-disk drive
- Improved VGA support (multisync).
- ASIC changes
- 030 support (related to data cache use)
- 4MB RAM on board support
- ROM space reduced to 2MB (from 4MB); allows 2MB for cards
- LOR (low-res special effect/pixel doubler)
- Removed speaker/fan plastic assembly.
- Removed second floppy connector.
- Reduced voltage sensitivity for VGA conformance.
