Macintosh LC II: Why No Two-Floppy Configuration
Why is a two floppy drive configuration not offered on Macintosh LC II?
The second floppy drive was removed to save cost and space on the logic
board. In addition, the two-floppy configuration is an undesirable System
7 platform.
