The SCSI card bundled with Apple OneScanner for Windows can be used with<BR>
other SCSI devices, such as a hard drive.  Note: Apple does not support<BR>
other SCSI configurations, cards, or devices.<BR>
<BR>
To use the card with a SCSI device other than OneScanner, you need the<BR>
driver software that is available from Adaptec, the card's manufacturer.<BR>

Using the SCSI card for other devices can be tricky. Sometimes SCSI IDs<BR>
must be set with a jumper on the card and the software must be reconfigured<BR>
to use another address for the card.<BR>
<BR>
Similarly, the scanner will theoretically operate with other SCSI cards or<BR>
some built-in SCSI implementations, but different drivers will be required<BR>
-- and Apple will not support other SCSI cards.  (Note that this rules out<BR>
all Microchannel-equipped IBM PS/2s as supported configurations.)<BR>
